Sculptures in Sound
On Saturday, 3 July, Back Room Poets will be reading at 3 pm in the Turrill Sculpture Garden, Summertown, which is at the back of the Summertown Library in South Parade. It's a delightful retreat and will be a lovely ambiance to perform in. We will aim to offer poetic fare in tune with the surroundings: a variety of sound sculptures, from lilting sets of sounds and wind and storm effects to wordshapes and ekphrases.
Free entry. Feel free to bring food for consumption in the Garden.
If by any chance, it is raining we will retreat into the library.
Readers: Elizabeth Birchall, Matt Bright, David Burns, Tim Greenwood, Christine Koutelieri, Louise Larchbourne, Inge Milfull, David Olsen, K.V. Skene, Alan Wynne Davies, Jenyth Worsley.
Presented by Jenyth Worsley.
