A WOMAN SMILING


On Thursday, 22 September, Back Room Poets will hosting a reading of translations and bilingual poetry, featuring Vrouwkje Tuinman, reading from her collection Intensive Care in Dutch and English (

We will also be featuring Back Room Poets member Mark Leech reading translations from Spanish.

Other members who will be reading bilingual work are Inge Milfull (German), Jenyth Worsley (French) and Josephine von Zitzewitz (Russian).

Venue: Garden Room, Friends' House, 43 St Giles, Oxford, OX1 3LW.
Time: 7 p.m. for 7:30 p.m.
Entry: £2 (for non-members)

Elder Stubbs, 20 August

Back Room Poets will be reading at Elder Stubbs Festival on 20 August.
We will be reading at 3 pm in the area called Clerks Wood.
There will be an open mic--come and bring a poem (or two) you'd like to read!
