The competition is now open and closes for submission on 7 June (for postal submissions) or 21 June (online submissions). The judge is Pat Winslow.

Upcoming event: Reading and Workshop with Alan Buckley, 9 May

with BRP members  Elizabeth Birchall, Louise Larchbourne, David Olsen, Kathleen M. Quinlan,
Tina Sederholm and Merryn Williams.
Jennifer A. McGowan will be MCing.

Time: 7:30 pm
Admission: £ 4.00 (£2 BRP members)

Preceded by a poetry workshop led by Alan Buckley at the Friends' Meeting House (St. Giles)  in the Library at 2-5 pm
The workshop is for experienced writers (not beginners) and is on the subject of re-drafting, discussing the works of other writers as well as generating some new material.
Some spaces still available for sign-up on the door.

Back Room Poets at the 13th Annual Oxford Human Rights Festival

Louise Larchbourne, Inge Milfull and Merryn Williams will be reading at the Festival on Saturday, 21 February at 6pm:
